Make the consequential product decision. Then make it real.
Bring me in when the stakes are material, the path is unclear, and the team needs more than another opinion. I help you make the call, build enough to prove the direction, and get the organization moving.
- Where is the next meaningful growth engine in what we already have?
- Which customer, problem, and product should we bet on first?
- What should we build ourselves, what should we partner for, and what should we stop?
- How do we simplify fragmented products, platforms, data, and teams without losing customers or momentum?
- Where can AI materially improve the customer experience, workflow, or economics?
- What needs to change across product, engineering, design, and data so the strategy actually ships?
- What can we build or test now to know whether to commit, change course, or stop?
You can bring me in for a short Focused Decision Block, a multi-week Product Inflection Sprint, or ongoing fractional product leadership. We start with the smallest structure that can resolve the immediate question, then expand only when deeper proof or execution is needed. Depending on the scope, the work can stay advisory or become hands-on across product strategy, organizational design, roadmaps, data strategy, prototypes, and direct technical execution.
I work with CEOs, CPOs, COOs, CTOs, boards, PE operating partners, and executive teams.
Three ways to work together
Focused Decision Block
For one live product, growth, AI, organizational, or technical decision. This is a short, fixed-scope engagement: we define the question, examine the relevant evidence, pressure-test the assumptions, and leave with a clear recommendation and next validation step.
Depending on the problem, the block may include a bounded product teardown, data review, prototype direction, or tightly scoped execution plan.
If the work exposes a larger need, we can expand into a Product Inflection Sprint or an ongoing fractional mandate.
Product Inflection Sprint
For a consequential decision requiring deeper diagnosis, leadership alignment, and tangible evidence. This is a multi-week, fixed-scope engagement.
We frame the decision, examine the system, compare the credible paths, and prove the opportunity far enough to commit. The result is a clear recommendation, economic thesis, operating model, working proof where useful, and executable 90-day plan. The engagement is scoped and priced around the outcome.
Fractional Product Leadership
For organizations that need ongoing senior product and technology leadership without immediately making a permanent hire.
I can stay engaged to lead execution, strengthen the operating model, guide the product organization, and prepare the company for durable internal ownership.
When to call
A major product, portfolio, or platform decision
The leadership team needs to commit resources, but the choices, tradeoffs, and evidence are not yet clear enough to make that commitment responsibly.
An AI-native opportunity that executives cannot yet make concrete
The opportunity may be important, but the organization needs a tangible way to examine its customer, operating, and commercial implications before choosing a direction.
A product-leadership gap before the permanent leader arrives
A consequential decision cannot wait for a search to conclude, and the team needs senior product judgment to clarify what should happen next.
A post-acquisition, post-reorganization, or strategy reset
A changed business context has created a decision that needs a shared frame, a practical proof, and an accountable path forward.
What a deeper sprint can include
Not every decision needs the full arc. When it does, the sprint is scoped around the decision and the evidence required to make it. The sequence follows the problem, not the other way around.
Frame the decision
Define the decision, its business stakes, the people who hold decision rights, and the evidence that would make a responsible choice possible.
Diagnose the system
Examine the customer, product, operating, technical, and commercial realities that constrain or enable the decision.
Choose the opportunity
Compare the credible paths, identify the opportunity worth proving, and make the working hypothesis explicit.
Build the proof
Create one constrained proof that gives the relevant team and stakeholders something concrete to inspect, test, and discuss.
Validate and quantify
Test the proof with the right evidence, quantify what can be known now, and make the remaining uncertainty visible.
Make execution possible
Leave the organization with an executable 90-day plan, metrics, owners, decision rights, and immediate next actions.
The proof and the boundary
The proof may be a working prototype, thin product slice, customer-journey proof, AI-enabled workflow, or commercial experiment. It exists to make the decision tangible and testable.
The sprint is not a production application, unlimited implementation, staff augmentation, or open-ended product-management coverage. It addresses one consequential problem and produces one constrained proof.
Fit
A fit requires an executive sponsor, material business stakes, access to the relevant team and evidence, a proof feasible within the agreed scope, willingness to decide, and acceptance of the production boundary.
Start with the decision.
Tell me what the team is wrestling with. If there is a fit, I will propose the smallest engagement structure that can create meaningful leverage.
Permanent senior product leadership
Looking for a permanent product leader?
I am also considering select VP Product, SVP Product, and CPO roles where the mandate is to build, transform, and scale a consequential product or business.
